Wine Wednesday: Mendocino Terrace Wine Bar at Disney's California Adventure

It's that time again, and this week, we're switching things up a bit...Headed out West to Disney's California Adventure Park!  Follow me on a journey through Golden Vine Winery!

Disneyland Resort's California Adventure Park pays homage to the different regions of the Golden State, California and the Northern California Wine Country is no exception.  You may or may not know that I spend a portion of each year on the NorCal Coast, so I was tickled to happen upon Golden Vine Winery on my recent trip to California Adventure.  Since the Golden Vine Winery Area occupies such a vast space with so much to report back to you about, I have decided to break it down into several posts!

Today, since it's Wine Wednesday here at DGTG, I decided to take you on a picturesque stroll through the entryway of Golden Vine Winery through the vineyards and finally, to the Mendocino Terrace.

Golden Vine Winery is home to Blue Sky Cellar.  Be sure to stop in to learn all about the future of the Disneyland Resort as well as plans for expansion!

Golden Vine Winery is the home of Wine Country Trattoria and the menu here is definitely reminicsent of those found here in Northern California.

An afternoon stroll through the live vineyards is heavenly!  The temperature in Anaheim averages 74 and Sunny in June, so as usual, it was the PERFECT day!

The vineyard is winds around beneath a gorgeous back-drop...sunny blue skies and Grizzly Peak.  The plants are fragrant and beautiful and hand-in-hand with the stone architecture, give visitors an idea of what to expect from the Northern California Wine Country.

After your stroll be sure to take in a wine tasting or two!  Golden Vine Winery does not lack in that department!  I ended up here, at the Mendocino Terrace, a wine bar featuring flights, tastings, and a wonderful offering of wines by the glass, boasting an expansive, shaded patio with breathtaking views of Paradise Pier... funny, because I currently live in Mendocino California... and yes, it is that beautiful here!
