"I am tired of hearing people refer to Disney as a 'theme park.'  I want everyone to experience Disney World as a world class resort, as I have, by taking advantage of not only the AMAZING and MAGICAL parks, but also the multitude of ameneties including, but certainly not limited to: luxurious accommodations, fine dining, boutique shopping, fabulous shows, and renowned spas.  Once you experience the 'Disney Difference', you'll be a believer and you'll keep coming back."

Amanda has nicknamed Disney World her "Lavish Laughing Place" and has made it her goal to promote Disney as a luxury vacation destination to those who may not see past the Castle and the parks. This blog is designed to showcase all of the finer things Disney has to offer, recognizing it as a fabulous venue for families seeking the "magical little extras" that only Disney can offer. 

Amanda specializes in helping families plan the Ultimate Disney vacation and invites you to follow along on her Disney adventures at disneygotogirl.com. Amanda and family are jet-setters and love to travel, especially to WDW and Northern California, and jokes that their bags are always packed and ready for the next adventure.

 She is mother to a beautiful princess, Bella, and wife to her best friend. Her love for Disney is deeply rooted since she and her husband Richard met for the first time at Downtown Disney in 2000.  They claim Disney is "in their genes," and they have passed this DNA on to Bella.
